Dr. Tan Kuanyang obtained his medical degree from the National University of Singapore (2005) He was amongst the top students of his cohort with multiple academic Deans' List placements and a winner of numerous academic prizes.
He cleared all his Royal College examinations on the first attempt and was awarded a Membership to the Royal College of Paediatricians and Child Health in the United Kingdom in 2009.
He was also awarded his Master's Degree in Paediatric Medicine in 2010, and was conferred his Fellowship in the Academy of Medicine of Singapore in the field of pediatric medicine in 2013.
An accredited pediatrician, Dr. Tan was formerly an Associate Consultant with the National University Hospitals Pediatric Department and has a special interest in the field of Pediatric Emergency medicine, where he is experienced in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of pediatric medical problems.
He was also very active in medical education and was a clinical tutor at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at NUS.
