- Fellowship of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), USA
- Fellowship in the Academy of Medicine of Singapore in Paediatric Medicine (FAMS Paediatrics), Singapore
Dr. Eugene Han obtained his medical degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS), achieving the Jane Prize in Paediatrics. He is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) and an accredited Paediatric Medicine Specialist by the Singapore Medical Council. He has been elected to a fellowship in the American College of Chest Physicians and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
After his specialist training at the National University Hospital, Singapore (NUH), with a stint at Victoria Hospital, Scotland, Dr. Han was a paediatrician at the Division of Paediatric Pulmonology and Critical Care, NUH. He was also appointed a clinical tutor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. He went into private practice in 2012 with SBCC Baby & Child Clinic before joining Thomson Paediatric Centre.
Besides general paediatrics, his clinical interests include asthma, allergy and chronic cough. He has published articles in international medical journals, presented at international conferences and written clinical guidelines for asthma, bronchiolitis and pneumonia.
He is currently an executive committee member of the Singapore Paediatric Society and was the chairman of the Children’s Asthma and Allergy Network (I CAN!). Being an avid sportsman, Dr. Han represented Singapore in the National Baseball and Softball teams, and rendered medical support to the 1st Asian Youth Games in 2009.
