SpecialKids Child Health & Development Clinic is one of the first private paediatric clinics providing medical and developmental care for special needs children in Singapore. We believe that every child is a unique individual, with the potential to blossom and develop beyond what we can see. Every kid is special in their own way – it is for us to discover their talents and their strengths. Every child has their own strengths and weaknesses. It is therefore our challenge to use their strengths to boost their weaknesses, in order for every child to optimize their developmental potential.
At our clinic, we see a wide variety of children with a range of medical, developmental and learning concerns. Through history taking and parental reports, we draw a profile of the child on the home and the school fronts, sometimes aided further by a school visit. The clinical session allows us to have a good idea of the child’s abilities and disabilities. Further assessments are then advised and administered as needed before recommendations for stimulation, intervention and schooling are made. We also provide the liaison between family and school as well as between family and interventional agencies, such as SG Enable (for referral to the Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children – EIPIC).
SpecialKids Child Health & Development Clinic – Where every child is special!
