Dr Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 2009. He completed his Master's degree in Family Medicine in 2015.
Prior to joining Island Family Clinic, he has worked in various departments in restructured hospitals including Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Geriatrics, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Paediatrics, Children's Emergency, O&G and Dermatology. He practised in the public primary care sector as a family physician managing patients of various age groups with both acute and chronic conditions.
Dr Tan believes in holistic care and continuity of care for the whole family. His area of interest includes chronic disease management, paediatrics, women's health and dermatology.
