Dr Jenny Tang is a Senior Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in Asthma, Lung, Sleep and Allergy. She manages conditions such as bronchial asthma, lung disorders, sleep disorders, and allergy disorders.
She obtained her MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1991. She subsequently obtained her Master of Medicine in Paediatrics in 1995 and membership to the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 1996. Dr Tang completed her advanced specialist training in Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and the Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio in the United States.
Dr Tang has also been conferred a fellowship of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK), American College of Chest Physicians (USA), Asia Pacific Society of Respirology, and the Academy of Medicine Singapore and is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

”Prior to joining SBCC, Dr Tang held the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Paediatric Medicine, Head and Senior Consultant of the Respiratory Medicine Service, and Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Centre, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She was also an Adjunct Associate Professor at Duke NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. She has received many awards such as the Service from the Heart award, National Day Commendation Award, Young Investigator awards, and the HMDP Fellowship for Paediatric Pulmonology and Sleep. Dr Tang also successfully led the KKH Sleep service to be the first sleep laboratory in Asia to achieve accreditation by the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand in 2009
Dr Tang is active in research and has published in the areas of Paediatric asthma, lung, sleep, and allergy. She is a key opinion leader in her field, a keen advocate for good medical practice and quality patient care, and an invited speaker at many local and regional educational events. She has held, holds positions on MOH medical advisory committees, MOH clinical practice expert groups, and executive committees of the Academy of Medicine, Medical societies, and patient support groups
