Dr. James Wu graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). He has worked in various government-restructured hospitals, gaining in-depth exposure to both medical and surgical fields, including Internal Medicine, General Surgery, and Orthopaedics.
Through his training, he has also developed strong clinical accruement for both Adult and Paediatric Ear Nose and Throat Conditions, as well as managing both upper and lower airway diseases in severe Respiratory Conditions.
He was trained in Hyperbaric and Underwater Medicine when he was a Medical Officer for the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN). He treated pressure-related injuries for divers and was appointed to provide first aid and resuscitation services for the sailing crew.
He is effectively multilingual in English, Chinese, and Korean. He has provided translation services in our local hospitals for Korean-speaking patients. He did elective studies in South Korea for Craniofacial and Cleft Deformities at the Yonsei University Affiliated Severance Hospital. He also speaks fluent Mandarin in his exchanges with doctors from the Fujian Medical University.
He is now doing the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine and is a member of the College of Family Physicians Singapore. He strongly believes that Medical Therapies must be personalized and each individual should be catered to according to their own unique needs.
