Dr Anita Menon completed her undergraduate and postgraduate medical training in Ireland and the U.K. She worked as a Consultant in Paediatric Infectious Diseases at The Children’s University Hospital, Temple Street and Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin in Dublin, Ireland prior to returning to Singapore in 2007 to commence her appointment as Consultant Paediatrician, Infectious Disease Service, at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
A Singaporean (native ‘East-Coaster’) who speaks Mandarin and several Chinese dialects in addition to English, Dr Menon is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) in the U.K. and of the Faculty of Paediatrics, Royal College of Physicians in Ireland (RCPI).
She is also a Member of the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID), Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), Singapore Infectious Diseases Society (SIDS) and International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID).
